I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I have had a variety of jobs over the years beginning with fabric store employee, gift wrap diva par excellence, hotel maid, bank teller, and jobs in accounting and finance in SF and Menlo Park. I then started my own business providing bookkeeping for private individuals and families, preparing reports for their accountants as well as organizing their paperwork. I moved to Ashland Oregon in 1998, and for the last 11 years I owned a very eclectic store on Main Street, my biggest selling product being sterling silver and stone jewelry. I closed the store in February 2015 (did I mention I have a lot of jewelry still???), and moved to Grass Valley to be closer to family and friends.
I have been a crafter since I can remember (my poor family), and my interests include making jewelry from sterling silver and gold fill findings and semi precious beads, sewing, knitting, making cards and crystal sun catchers, and gardening. I have recently gotten interested in painting furniture and finishing it with a wax surface. Love learning new things!!! My cat Georgia and I are in the process of befriending a homeless cat with the intention of making him part of our family. Max seems to be on board with this idea.
